On November 03, 2017, the business center of Hyatt Regency Kyiv hotel hosted the presentation of the new specialized complex for storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas. The new handling complex, which implements more than forty different technological operations on LPG handling, began working in Izmail. The Complex is not only a new enterprise, but also a focal point of the new route for LPG shipment from the CIS to the Balkans.
Total cost of the facility is about USD 5 million. The funding was provided by foreign investors.
Construction of the Complex for storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas began in Odesa region in 2012. Process of the data collection and the Complex design lasted for two years almost. The facility construction began in 2015. The site for the complex was chosen in accordance with Ukrainian regulations, with due regard to the possibility of LPG loading to rail, automobile and water transport.
Currently, logistics company Ville Forte Ukraine accepted the Complex for storage and handling of energy carriers into service and operates it.
