On June 8, 2026, the “Education of the New Ukraine 2.0” conference took place in Kyiv – a large-scale event designed to help young people make an informed choice about their future profession and see the opportunities offered by modern Ukrainian education.
The conference became an open platform for dialogue among the government, educational institutions, the expert community, businesses, school students, and parents. Participants discussed the transformation of Ukrainian education, its alignment with the current challenges of the labor market, prospects for the development of technical fields, and the role of young people in rebuilding the country.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine, and the President of Ukraine’s Fund for the Support of Education, Science and Sports.
The MAINSTREAM team provided comprehensive organization and communications support for the conference.
More than 500 participants attended the event, including school students, university students, parents, representatives of higher education institutions and government institutions, education experts, and employers.
Among the Speakers at the Conference:
- Yulia Svyrydenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine;
- Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine;
- Tetyana Berezhna, Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy of Ukraine – Minister of Culture of Ukraine;
- Olga Budnyk, Advisor – Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports;
- Olena Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The Challenge
The MAINSTREAM team was tasked with managing the entire conference preparation process: from concept development through to implementation and communications support.
The project’s distinctive feature was the combination of two levels of complexity. On the one hand, an event attended by the country’s highest-ranking officials required protocol-level precision, clear logistics, and flawless coordination among all services. On the other hand, the conference’s key audience was school students and young people, for whom the format had to remain lively, interactive, and modern rather than official. Finding a balance between the event’s state-level status and the language of a young audience became both the main challenge and the team’s principal achievement.
Event Support
The MAINSTREAM event team delivered:
- development of the conference concept and visual style;
- creation of the event program;
- preparation, setup, and decoration of the venue;
- organization of the event’s technical production;
- coordination of exhibition spaces and interactive zones;
- organization of a performance by music headliner SadSvit, including fulfillment of the technical rider.
One of the conference’s key components was the interactive “Avenue of Opportunities” – an exhibition space where leading Ukrainian universities and educational institutions presented modern educational programs, laboratories, student projects, and promising fields of study. Visitors could speak with university representatives, learn more about academic specializations, and gain a practical understanding of the professions that will shape the future of the Ukrainian economy.

PR Support
MAINSTREAM’s strategic department provided comprehensive communications support for the event, including:
- inviting and accrediting media representatives;
- coordinating the work of journalists before and during the conference;
- preparing and distributing post-event press materials;
- communicating with partners and coordinating their participation;
- media monitoring, analysis of the information landscape, and preparation of a press clipping report.

Results
The conference became one of the year’s key educational events, bringing together the government, the education community, and young people for a discussion about the future of Ukrainian education.
Among event results:
- 500+ participants attended the event;
- 580+ publications appeared in the media and on social networks.
Thanks to comprehensive organization and communications support, the conference received broad media coverage, strengthened public discussion about the development of education in Ukraine, and helped draw young people’s attention to the modern opportunities offered by Ukrainian educational institutions.
