MAINSTREAM Event Department held a roadshow of the European Zone through festivals of Ukraine within the framework of the project "Partnership of the EU with Ukrainian cultural and sports initiatives". The company's tasks included the development of the concept and special activities of the European Zone, cooperation with festivals and logistics through regions of Ukraine.
The main task of the European Zone was to provide more information about the projects supported by the EU Delegation to Ukraine. Each participant of the festival was able to find answers regarding his or her areas of interest: education, support for innovation, support for small and medium businesses, support of cultural development in Ukraine, etc.
The EU Delegation to Ukraine is interested in supporting both major national cultural events and significant regional events. In the festival season 2019, the European Zone visited 15 festivals, which were selected from 125 applications submitted:
