The Rarest Blend of The Balvenie Scotch Whisky

On November 11 and 12, Kyiv folks had a chance to taste unique blends of The Balvenie whisky. The project included three events, each for its own target audience. Two of them were held jointly with the «Good Wine» wine supermarket, where the six blends of whisky were presented: The Balvenie 12 DoubleWood, The Balvenie 17 DoubleWood, The Balvenie 21 PortWood, and The Balvenie 30, as well as The Balvenie Tun 1509, exclusively presented in «Good Wine», and The Balvenie 40.

The latter of the above-mentioned is an incredibly rare whisky created by malt master David Stewart. This blend matured in special casks for at least forty years. All bottles are hand-numbered and packed in handcrafted oak-wood cases. The starting price of the masterpiece is 3000 pound sterling.

The third tasting took place in the Scotch house restaurant «Whisky Corner», where VIP-clients met William Grant & Sons global brand ambassador Ludovic Ducrocq and were introduced to unique masterpieces of Scotch distilleries, such as: The Balvenie 12 DoubleWood, The Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask, The Balvenie 17 DoubleWood, and The Balvenie 21 PortWood.
