Irina Belashko, Client Service Director of ‘Mainstream Communication & Consulting’, participated in PR-class ‘Practice of effective PR’ that was held on the 9th of December 2006.
In her report on Reputation profiling Irina Belashko explaned the main point of how to manage Business Reputation effectively. Business reputation and the right image can be characterized by: correctness and success of business development strategy; management efficiency; quality of products and services; good financial coefficients; ethics of running business and company image; HR potential and professionalism of personnel; social responsibility; valuation of company as an appealing employer; business qualities and charisma of the chief’s personality; communicatory openness; codes of corporate behaviour, regulations of corporate culture, etc.
Ms Belashko noted that reputation management doesn’t mean creation of a fine myth. The actual state of affairs will become notorious sooner or later, and the company will have to spend lots of money in order to remedy the situation. On the other hand reality can be and should be presented from the standpoint necessary for the company.
Participants of the PR-class had an opportunity to discuss vital topics and exchange new ideas in the sphere of PR-management.
