'The first in Eastern Europe Youth Coaches Congress is dedicated to the FC Shakhtar’s 75th anniversary, which is celebrated under the slogan ‘celebrating the past, creating the future’. Today’s Congress is dedicated to the second part of that slogan, as for every club, I think, youth academy is fundamental to any club’s development. This is our future. Naturally, the Congress enjoyed a lot of attention and popularity, with 190 people taking part in the forum. We consider this Congress to be a very strong start for developing football culture in our country. We all should share our best practices and expertise accumulated for many years. Everyone understands that recent progress in technologies and training methods in the youth academies has risen to a very high level. So Shakhtar have something to share, and I believe that you have something to share with your colleagues as well. I am wishing everyone good luck. I hope that this Congress will become the foundation for further forums'.
