Viasat UA is a part of Modern Times Group—the largest operation of subscription television in countries of Western and Eastern Europe and in the Baltic States. Modern Times Group was established in Scandinavia in 1987. The company is listed on the Nordic Stock Exchange.

International television Viasat owns nineteen free and eighteen pay channels of their own production. Among the best known of them are the entertaining Viasat Explorer, Viasat History, TV-1000, etc.

11.5 million subscribers in seventeen countries use paid services from Viasat. The total number of the Viasat viewers amounts to 86 million persons in twenty-one countries of Europe.

To present the unique possibilities of the new operator to Ukrainian viewers, it was necessary to enter into active cooperation with Ukrainian mass media and to build a national dealer network.

We provided all-out PR support to introduce the Viasat brand into the Ukrainian market.

The agency tasks set by the client included the following:

  • Create a journalist pool of those who are competent and interested in covering Viasat’s entry into the Ukrainian market. 
  • Organize and carry out a series of events aimed at the formation of Viasat relations with target audiences: regional dealers, potential clients, and international and Ukrainian partners.
