Press tour to plant INTERPIPE Dneprostal

03.11.2011

On October 19, 2011, Mainstream Communication & Consulting organized a press tour, dedicated to the final stage of construction of the largest electric steel smelting plant in Eastern Europe — INTERPIPE Dneprostal.

Participants of the press tour were editors-in-chief and journalists of central business and profile editions, analysts of investment companies, as well as representatives of Dneprostal plant, INTERPIPE and Danieli. The press tour included an excursion for journalists to the plant and to the substation, a press conference, and provided opportunities for informal communication.

During the press tour, journalists found out that altogether 700 million USD were invested in the project Dneprostal and that upon completion of construction it was the largest electric steel smelting plant in Eastern Europe. It will function on the principle of „green metallurgy“: innovative equipment, eco-friendly and energy efficient manufacture, high industrial culture and comfortable working conditions.

Construction of Dneprostal is rightfully regarded as the best eco-social project of Ukraine, and its implementation will enable to raise the status of Dnepropetrovsk as of the center of innovative technologies and „ecological“ investments. The press tour contributed to strengthening of mutual relations between INTERPIPE top-management and mass media representatives.
