Mainstream wins tender by DWF Danube – Black Sea

Mainstream Communication & Consulting won a tender to cover in mass media the project on restoration of the Ukrainian deep-water fairway (DWF) Danube — Black Sea.

According to the Terms of Reference, the Agency’s task is to inform the public about the progress of the project implementation on restoration of the Ukrainian DWF, as well as to improve the image of the State Enterprise «Delta Pilot».

Fulfillment of the tasks in view will be carried out by means of such PR-tools as management of events for mass media, initiation of editorials, drafting and distribution of press releases and news items, expert polls and analysis of information field, as well as placement of the project direct advertisement.

«We cannot reveal all details of the project at this stage, however the customer will choose from the wide range of work tools, as well as the full list of national and target regional media. Our concept of information support to the progress of the project implementation on restoration of the Ukrainian DWF focuses mainly on objective and diversified coverage of all project activities, from vessels pilotage along the DWF and to participation of specialists from „Delta Pilot“ and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine in international conferences,» commented senior account manager Marina Ermakova.

The project of the DWF Danube — Black Sea restoration through the Bystroe mouth is of strategic importance for Ukraine that may turn our country into the regional navigation leader. «We’ve already had experience of dealing with complex information issues. In particular, it helped the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Infrastructure to work out the problem of the DWF further development, during the fifth session of the Espoo Convention participants, in summer of the current year,» noted Marina Ermakova.
