Margo Gontar, co-founder of StopFake project, and Sevgil Musaieva-Borovyk, editor-in-chief of Ukrainska Pravda online version, shared their experience in struggling against untrue information and facts checking methods in journalism.

On December 21-28, in cinemas of the six cities of Ukraine children saw a cartoon about the history of the first Christmas. Demonstrations took place in Lviv, Kharkiv, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Kyiv. Organizers were “Emmanuel” Association with support of Mainstream Communication & Consulting. Altogether, there were 17 demonstrations, which reached out to more than 5000 children.

We won’t talk much about the work this winter. Just like many other companies, we could not stay away from the events in the country — we volunteered, helped journalists, did our best to help Maidan in many ways, cooperated with the European Commission on communicating information from Ukraine in real time and vice verse — spreading the information within our country on each Ukraine-related update from the European Parliament.
